Welcome to BetSlate. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of betslate.co, our newsletter, and related content and tools (the “Service”). The Service is operated by BetSlate. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What BetSlate is — and is not
BetSlate is an independent, book-agnostic sports information and decision-support service. We provide statistics, odds comparisons, educational content, and daily analysis to help you make your own informed decisions. BetSlate is not a sportsbook or gambling operator. We do not accept, place, hold, or facilitate wagers, and we do not handle any betting funds.
Eligibility
You must be of legal age to engage with sports-betting information and to bet in your jurisdiction (21+ in most of the United States) and must use the Service only where doing so is legal. No betting advice or guarantees

Our analysis and “picks” are opinions and probability estimates — leans, not locks — and are never a guarantee of any outcome. Odds, lines, and statistics may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate; always confirm current numbers directly with your sportsbook before acting. You are solely responsible for your own betting decisions and any resulting outcomes, gains, or losses.
Responsible gambling
Please bet responsibly and only with money you can afford to lose. If gambling stops being fun or feels like a problem, help is available — in the U.S., call or text 1-800-GAMBLER. Many jurisdictions also offer self-exclusion and deposit-limit tools through licensed operators.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:
- Violating any applicable law or regulation;
- Copying, scraping, or redistributing our content on a commercial basis without permission;
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service, its security, or its infrastructure;
- Using the Service to harass others or to transmit unlawful, harmful, or misleading material.
Newsletter and communications
If you subscribe to the BetSlate newsletter, you consent to receive our emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message.
Intellectual property
The BetSlate name, logo, original written content, graphics, and design are owned by BetSlate and protected by intellectual-property laws. Team names, league names, and logos referenced or displayed are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial commentary only; BetSlate is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any team, league, sportsbook, or prediction market.
Third-party services and links
The Service references and may link to third-party sportsbooks, prediction markets, and data providers. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, odds, availability, or practices, and a link or reference is not an endorsement.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information will be accurate or current.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BetSlate and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any betting or financial losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service or reliance on its content.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold BetSlate harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree that any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Ohio, to the extent permitted by law.
